Is It Likely To Get Ringwom On A Tatto

Cykl - Miejsca gdzie warto popłynąć - Kanary 2008

In response to my proposal for inclusion on this site, descriptions of interesting sailing trips - series "Places where we sail," , Agnes came forward, and sent out an account of a voyage in the Canaries.

Day 1

trip to the Canary Islands went through my head for some time - and succeeded in April this year. Cruise was to begin at 17.00 8.04 - so we decided to fly the day before and see the sights of Santa Cruz de Tenerife naczytawszy previously in the guides at view is worth it. Flight from Madrid, unfortunately, was delayed due to bad weather conditions, so at midnight we were about 07.04 but of course, still bravely headed into town for beer.
morning - the first hour surprise. 7.00 - and there still dim. An hour later, after a large coffee, we went to visit. What to see? - Plaza España (central city), market, Calle Castillo (the main shopping street), Nuestra Senora de Iglesia de la Concepcion - the oldest church in the city. In one of the many restaurants we ate lunch, of course, being here can not be the decline of fresh fish and seafood so skusiliśmy the octopus and tuna - delicious.

After a long day of sightseeing we went by bus to the southern end of the island to the marina of San Miguel where we waited for a boat with skipper and another crewman. So we had a Bavaria 44 and 4 people on board. Quickly acquainted with the yacht, we did a little shopping and hit the road. We had a plan to sail in the direction of Gran Canaria and encircle it from the south and along the east coast to get to Las Palmas (approx. 90 nm). Due the shortage of staff have established a watch 2 bed, 6 - hour. We favor the wind direction, strength, too (really, between the islands of the sea state is present continuously between 6 and 8 B, so conditions for sailing are really good) and so began the first night swimming. I expected that temperatures will be much lower, but it was warm enough to wear underwear and thermal sztormiak and you could see the starry sky.

Day 2

second day around 14.00 we reached Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and once we learned what a siesta. After 20 hours of nothing but sailing is not just dreaming about how to take a warm shower and wash off the salt is ubiquitous. Bosman smile greeted us, asked us to be moored next to the office and declared that he began to 14.00 and siesta, the office will be open again at 16.00 and then we will indicate the place at the jetty, take charge and give the keys to the bathrooms. The worst thing was that he turned on his heel and where it went? - The office that carefully shut from the inside and began to consume sandwiches. Men are lucky - Men's bathroom was open - I've been waiting to 16.00 L.

About 16:00, the boatswain opened the door and politely welcomed me with the documents of the yacht. He showed us a good local pub in the depths of the city - a map with narysowanym keep reaching for the next time - it is worth. When we arrived, it turned out that the waitress nor anyone from the manual does not understand English and can not explain to us what a "fish day" on which we all desire. Jurek so much thought went into the kitchen, the cook zaglądnął Gary came in and declaring that while he does not know what kind of fish, but it looks tasty.

wash, replete poprawiwszy the whims of a few beers kufelkami went to the yacht to sleep.

Day 3 Morning

- surprise - a boat and a pier are some 1.5 m above in relation to the shore. I totally forgot that it was tidal waters. I wonder how it looks on the water where the tide is to jump a few meters?

That day we decided a bit of sunbathing, so we went to the beach, we went down the stairs and of course downloaded the shoes before entering the sand. After a few steps, realized his mistake - a terrible black sand heats up from the sun, but about 11.00 am it was already close to 30 * C. We started again, shoes, went to the ocean, cloths and laid out a little poopalaliśmy, but not for long because it was unbearable hot. Adrian, of course, went into the water to bathe, I stayed on the bank - because there may be sharks!

tired of us lying on the beach, so we vote and we decided to sail on - This time our goal was to Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Taught by experience of the previous day, we knew that we leave the marina before 14.00 otherwise still stuck here for the next two hours, so the sprężaliśmy. For several hours we had a beautiful view of the coastline of Gran Canaria and then you just ocean. Sea state was maintained within 6-7 so all gather up and count up the next night swimming.

Day 4

To Santa Cruz arrived around 5.00 am, was already waiting on the platform boatswain, who showed us where to stay and gave us the key to the bathroom. About godz.8.00 went to an already opened offices to arrange the formalities and strongly surprised because I had to write out the entire crew, including home addresses and phone numbers. Well that was us, 4 people. For this you almost had to rewrite the boat's registration papers in their forms, including the address and phone to the owner and office. Of course, for a moment you made copies of all documents, but no longer thinking about the meaning of it all - because this day was to be a day of laziness. I decided to Adrian go see the Loro Parque.

boarded the bus (there are only one state-owned bus lines, and buying a ticket for a few rides, you can save a lot, it is best to ask about the ticket information) and we went to Puerto de la Cruz. Here, walking down the sidewalk along the coast had a chance to admire the black beaches of the holiday homes in all its glory.

entrance to the Loro Parque is through a Thai village. Apparently the buildings were constructed in Thailand, moved to Tenerife in the elements and re-assembled by Thai artisans. You will definitely want to see the aquarium with sharks in which he goes to a glass tunnel and sharks swim around - brrr. Worth seeing
garden with orchids and of course whales show (sitting in the front row for sure end up splashing water), dolphins, seals and parrots. Really what we do throughout the day and even a few times we heard the Polish language.

Day 5

At 8.00 am we sailed away, this time we wanted to see how the tourist area of Tenerife island so we went for the purpose of the port of Los Cristianos. Sun as usual, firmly shone, the wind was a good one - we waited all day sailing. With the sun in the Canary Islands, unfortunately, is so that when you come down to the land is hot from 1928 to 1930 degrees, but on the water where he blows all the time not to feel, even cold, so a good sztormiak is very useful.

southern part of Tenerife is one big construction site at the hotel and the hotel, as indeed shown in the pictures. Unforgettable view of the ocean and its color - in my life have I seen such deep blue. Maybe the images do not reflect this fully, but it's just an argument to be there is still time to choose. Day was wonderful, most of the time we sailed Backstays, then beam reach and admired the view. The next day we were hoping that maybe somewhere we'll see dolphins, but unfortunately failed.

Once there, the evening to Los Cristianos, greeted us buzz seaside resort, we set out to conquer the restaurant from which it is crawling along the entire coast, even met Elvis departing after the concert, hopefully in the next restaurant, he played the next Elvis, and we had a chance to eat dinner to the sounds of immortal hits.

Day 6

In the morning we headed towards the island of - Gomera, our goal was to San Sebastian. This is the first time the wind was not good for us, it was not at all, the whole way we beat on the engine. But there was something that we rewarded the inconvenience - first saw a strange growing on the ocean, we do not know exactly what it was, but it's possible that the day before we ate it for dinner - and then finally showed up dolphins. We have not had to do too many pictures, because obviously the first time when podpłynęły close to the boat, everyone has an open-faced and stared, just when we thought began to drain out of the camera.

When we approached the island we hit the rocks, beautiful colors, from black, through shades of brown to red. Immediately after taking a mooring and the boat went klaru see it all up close. San Sebastian is also called a city of balconies, and indeed there is almost a building that would not have more or less the balcony. Of course, not to enter omieszkaliśmy local restaurants for fresh fish and found that of the next week rent a car and we set off to explore the island. The rental prices are not exorbitant and it is a very convenient way of exploring the park. Garajonar National Park is worth seeing - so he could look like a Mediterranean forest before the advent of the Ice Age.

Day 7

This day we had to pass quickly on visiting the park and lead the boat to the port from which ruszaliśmy. We packed up

Seat all the white and went to conquer the island. Park makes a great impression, especially continuously flowing mist and a huge amount of plants in the colors of the lush greenery. Unusual impressive hanging from the branches pale green moss forming long beards.

the hard decision that you ever come back here and spend the whole day to move the island odcumowaliśmy boat and hit the road back to Tenerife. This time for a change, unless Neptune decided to reward our lack of wind yesterday, and treated us 9 * B. Ocean view was amazing, huge waves, fog guys from the tops of the waves, the waves pouring across the deck at times. Pictures did not do, because everyone had something to do on board. Grotto zrzuciliśmy as soon as the wind began to step up, and sailed on the same Gienia. Speed boat which is then recorded a 15w. After more than three hours, the wind eased and we were able to drink hot tea, check for any damage to the board and with heavy hearts to flow forth. Finally, tomorrow morning rozjeżdżaliśmy to their homes.

I know one thing - I have three of the island to have a look so I'm sure once I get back here, this time in 2 weeks!
